Alvaro Galassi

Sole Director and Co-founder of OperaBit Srl and Novidea Srl, for years he was chief executive officer of Gruppo Industriale FABER Spa, a European leader in the extractor hood sector with its main offices and manufacturing facilities in Italy; between 1997 and 2001 he successfully internationalised the group, acquiring various regional leaders such as Mepamsa (Spain), Spar (Argentina), Roblin (France), Futurum (Scandinavia) and by creating new Strategic Companies in China (Flaminia Nanging), in India Faber – Heatcraft), Turkey (Flaminia Turchia) and Russia (Faber Russia), becoming President; for two years he was President of Franke Italia Spa.




Sergio Fornai

Promoter, Co-founder and Commercial & Marketing Manager of OperaBit Srl, he graduated in Business Studies from La Sapienza University in Rome and obtained a Master in Quality Management from the Pisa Qualital University Consortium in Quality Engineering. He has been a tenured professor of Industrial Technology at the Business Economics faculty in Tuscia University; he has extensive professional experience as a manager at Italian and international companies in the automobile, domestic appliances and paper sectors. He was also Treasurer and Vice President in CONFINDUSTRIA LAZIO with delegated authority to manage Companies in which the State has an equity interest, the Studies Centre and Social Responsibility. He has been President of Young Entrepreneurs in Lazio and is currently an active member of the CONFINDUSTRIA system. He has been an Entrepreneur and Manager in companies in the real estate, services, health and ICT sectors, Managerial Consultant, Auditor and a Lecturer in Quality and Social Responsibility. He is a member and President of various Corporate Supervisory Bodies established pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001. Together with Antonio Livi, he was Co-author of Etica dell’Imprenditore [Ethics for Entrepreneurs] (Publishing House Leonardo Da Vinci, 2008).

The OperaBit Technical Team comprises experienced human resources having exclusive professional skills acquired within and at the very top of leading international organisations in the IT, Software Engineering, I.o.T., M2M, Security, Embedded, Real Time Applications, Numerical Calculus, Automation, Machine Learning and Big Data Integrated Systems sectors.
All our server side applications are written in C/C++ and geared to provide performance, scalability and total reliability. Our team is agile, flexible, client orientated and Full Stack; OperaBit is the sole point of contact for clients and for their requirements relating to these areas, capable of efficiently interfacing with resources and complementary professional skills and operating in international markets. Our engineers have expertise in C/C++, PHP, XML, XSLT, HTML5, JS, CSS, SQL, Android, Linux Server and NoSql.
